This museum (Λαογραφικό και Εθνολογικό Μουσείο Μακεδονίας-Θράκης/Laografiko kai Ethnologiko Mousio Makedonias-Thrakis) is especially worth seeing for its setting: the beautiful Villa Modiano, with garden and café under the trees, a bourgeois home designed in 1906 by architect Eli Modiano for banker Jacob Modiano, both related to writer Patrick Modiano.
