Nea Fokea's best restaurant doesn't even need to be on the seafront to attract customers. Located in the village's central square, opposite the Agios Nikolaos church (1902) and the monument to refugees from Asia Minor, it's very Marseillaise in name (Μασσαλία), but very Greek in menu: stuffed vine leaves, zucchini fritters, grilled octopus, fava, salads with various cheeses, pork fricassee, etc. No big surprises, but very good. So good, in fact, that we also recommend the annex in Thessaloniki.

Πολύ ωραία τα μύδια κ η σαρδέλα, το χταπόδι κ το καλαμάρι ήταν πολύ μέτρια κ άγευστα. Αρκετά ακριβό.

Delicious and aesthetically pleasing food with a gorgeous view. We ordered a bunch of starters to share, make sure you try the fried feta in sesame crust with honey and the fried courgettes! Was surprised it was rated as pricey, actually average prices for good restaurants in the area with 20-25€ per person
