THEA THALASSA

A good address on the road between Nea Fokea and Kallithea. The "sea view" restaurant (Θέα Θάλασσα) is first and foremost worth a stop for its panoramic terrace. But also for its cocktails, wine list and menu: marinated bonito, sea bass ceviche, fish of the day in carpaccio or baked or pan-fried, and two chef's dishes with little orzo pasta, one with osso buco and shrimp, the other with cuttlefish and marinated pork from Crete. All this in the village of Afytos, which is rather pretty compared to its neighbors and has two beautiful beaches.
