Owned by the sultry Greco-Russian billionaire Ivan Savvidis, this luxury resort, created in 1973, includes two beaches, four hotels, an 18-hole golf course, a casino, a winery and a 315-ring marina. We didn't sleep there (or moor our yacht, for that matter), but the quality of service seemed pretty good. Superb rooms and bungalows, numerous restaurants, beautiful swimming pools, courteous staff... For the record, this is where the ceremony for the enlargement of the EU to 25 countries took place in 2004.
