PORT D’OURANOUPOLI

From here, boats leave for the west coast of Athos. First of all, there's the ferry to Dafni (duration 2h) serving 6 monastic ports (Govanitsa, Zografou, Konstamonitou, Dochiariou, Xenofontos and Pantelimonos). Service is also provided by a speedboat (departures 8:45 and 10:40 a.m., duration 50 minutes) and water cabs. In all cases, the police check ID and diamonitirion (pass). Then there are the excursion boats that run along the coast to the foot of the Athos peak (duration 3h). Tickets sold near the quay.
