Located on the pretty Afon Emmanouil square (also called Doltso), this restaurant (Ντολτσό) is housed in a traditional stone and wood house dating from 1860. It serves good, mostly local cuisine: pitas from Kastoria, talseno (eggplant and bell pepper cream), grilled mushrooms, stuffed cabbage leaves, Florina peppers, grilled vegetables with Messinian talagani cheese, Thracian blood sausage dumplings (babos), meatballs with tomato, pork with grapes and plums, wild boar in winter and candied fruit for dessert.
