One of the most beautiful private residences of the Ottoman period in Kastoria, renovated in 1754. Superb architecture and rich decoration.
This archontiko (Αρχοντικό Τσιατσιαπά) is one of the finest private residences of the Ottoman period in Kastoria. The three-storey building was built in the early 18th century and renovated in 1754 by its second owner, Dimitrios Tsiatsiapas: corbelled towers on the sides, frescoes and rich carved wood decor (1798) on the second floor with in particular a painting depicting Constantinople (the Galata Tower is recognizable)... On the first floor: exhibition of models of Kastoria's emblematic mansions.

En vous promenant dans les ruelles de la ville (attention c'est assez pentu) de même qu'en bordure lac, vous ne pourrez manquer ces maisons et bâtisses superbement entretenues, mêlant bois et pierres c'est du plus bel effet et un ravissement pour vos yeux, de belles photos en perspective.
