This museum (Ιστορικό Λαογραφικό Μουσείο Κοζάνης/Istoriko Laografiko Mousio Kozanis) is housed in a superb 19m-high 18th-century archontiko and a modern extension. It retraces daily life from 1640 to 1960: costumes, furniture, swords, reconstructions of cooper's, potter's and shoemaker's workshops, etc. There's also a fine natural history exhibition on site, and modern art and archaeology collections in two annexes in the same district.
