Beautiful little early church dedicated to Saint Germain of Constantinople. Frescoes mainly from the century.

This small early 11th-century church (Ιερός Ναός Αγίου Γερμανού/Ieros Naos Agiou Germanou) gives its name to the village. It backs onto a large church built in 1882, also dedicated to Saint Germain of Constantinople, Byzantine patriarch from 715 to 730. The interior is covered with frescoes painted in 1743. Above the entrance, however, is a 12th- or 13th-century portrait of Saint Germain. It is one of the few representations of this patriarch, who was considered "impious" before being rehabilitated. According to tradition, he is buried here.
