EXCURSION TO THE HERMITAGES OF PSARADES

Spiros and Panayiotis Kosmanopoulos offer a boat trip to see the frescoes in three hermitages nestling in the cliffs above the great Lake Prespa: Mikri Analipsi (^14th century), Panagia Eleousa (^13th century) and Metamorfosis tou Sotiros (c. 1409). Note that in Pustec, Albania, the same type of excursion is organized to visit the Serbian chapel on the island of Mali Grad and other medieval hermitages on their side of the border.
