Church with frescoes from the 15th century, hanging on top of the rocks in Aghios Achilleos.
This ancient 14th-century hermitage (Ασκηταριό Μικρής Ανάληψης/Askitario Mikris Analipsis) clings to a cliff above the great Lake Prespa. It is dedicated to the Ascension of Christ. Its church preserves 15th-century frescoes: scene of the Melismos (Eucharist) ceremony, portraits of the Virgin of the Blachernes and St. Stephen.
