AGII APOSTOLI D'AGIOS ACHILLIOS CHURCH

This ruined basilica (Βασιλική Αγίων Αποστόλων/Vasiliki Agion Apostolon) was founded in the ^11th or ^12th century. Only the foundations have survived. The two columns that still stand in the center of the ruins come from earlier buildings. On a square stone, a Latin inscription remains, with the remains of a Hellenistic building beneath the church foundations, showing that the site was occupied without interruption from Hellenistic to Byzantine times.
