The most refined restaurant on Olympus (Γαστροδρόμιο Εν Ολύμπω) attracts gourmets rather than hikers. Although the latter will still find hearty pasta dishes here that aren't too expensive. But it's above all the sea that takes pride of place: scallops with tarama mousse, stone scallops with Kozani saffron, octopus with Florina chili... Interesting meats too, like organic wild boar from Olympus and splendid pieces of matured beef... whose prices are on a par with the peaks! Terrace, great wine list and boutique.

Overall it was ok. I was disappointed that the lentil appetizer had a frozen spoonful of pineapple on top of it. Not sure if that's the way it is normally served? Also, I asked for a steak medium well but it was more like medium rare. I left the center of the steak untouched because it was too bloody to eat, which is ashame, considering how much I paid for it.

Επισκεφτήκαμε τον χώρο την Τετάρτη 03/01/24, το φαγητό ήταν αρκετά καλό, αλλά όχι και τέλειο! Τα περισσότερα πιάτα είχαν ιδιαίτερες γεύσεις, ωστόσο οι μερίδες ήταν σχετικά μικρές, ενώ το κυρίως πιάτο, μια σπαλομπριζόλα 1kg που πήραμε ήταν μέτρια.

Πραγματίκα δεν βρήκα κάτι αρνητικό για το συγκεκριμένο εστιατόριο, όλα ήταν αψεγάδιαστα χωρις καμία δόση υπερβολής. Η λαχανοσαλάτα ωραια και δροσερή, η λακερδοπανσέτα ενα ωραίο και ιδιαίτερο πιάτο, φοβερες ταλιατέλες με τρουφα και τρομερό ζυγούρι στη γάστρα! Από ποτό εχει κια τεραστια ποικιλία κρασιών, αξιζει η δοκιμή έστω ενός ποτηριού απο αύτες τις φιάλες που διαθέτει το μαγαζί. Τέλος, το προσωπίκο και ευγενέστατο ! Εννοείται πως το προτείνω είναι ενα must αν βρεθείτε στο Λιτόχωρο και γενικότερα ευρεία περιοχή της Κατερίνης .

Εξαιρετική επιλογή και ιδιαίτερα προσοχή στην δυσανεξία στην γλουτένη. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.
