This Greek Orthodox church from the second half of the 15th century (Ιερός Ναός Αγίου Παταπίου/Ieros Naos Agiou Patapiou) is adorned with frescoes from the 15th and 18th centuries depicting Christ, the Virgin Mary, St. John the Baptist and St. Patapios of Thebes, a 4th-century Egyptian hermit whose relic is kept at the Osios Patapios monastery in Loutraki, near Corinth. Outside, an archaeological site (free of charge) houses the large mosaic of a 4th-century baptistery and the remains of a5th-century basilica.
