TO LEMONI
The "Lemon" tavern (Το Λεμόνι) stands in front of a square adorned with an ancient fountain quite close to Pella's archaeological museum (450 m to the southeast). It's one of the few restaurants in town. Everything is home-made, inexpensive and, on the whole, rather tasty: salads, pan-fried mushrooms, stuffed peppers, baked lamb, hunkar begendi (beef simmered with eggplant), moussaka, souvlaki... The terrace is pleasant and the owners are welcoming. A welcome stopover after or before visiting the archaeological site (950 m to the south-west).
