A multi-sited site containing the remains of the ancient city of Mieza: Macedonian tombs and a Greco-Roman theater.
This site (Αρχαιολογικός Χώρος Μίεζας/Archaiologikos Choros Miezas) brings together in several places the remains of Mieza, which was one of the richest cities of the Kingdom of Macedonia from the 4th to 2nd centuries BC. Near the so-called "Kinch Tomb" (c. 300-250 B.C.), located along the main road, are the magnificent "Judgment Tomb" (c. 325-300 B.C.), decorated with frescoes depicting the deceased, and the Greco-Roman Theatre (2nd century B.C.).
