PORT DE KAVALA

This port (Λιμάνι Καβάλας/Limani Kavalas) is linked to the island of Thassos all year round. There are 4-5 ferries/day to the port of Skala Prinos, Thassos (1h15 crossing). Alternatively, you can board at the port of Keramoti, 39 km southeast of Kavala, for the port of Limenas, Thassos: 2 ferries/hour, 35-minute crossing. Kavala also offers at least two ferries a week in summer to the island of Lemnos (4h15 crossing) and one ferry a week to the islands of Lesbos (8h), Chios (11h) and Samos (16h/18h crossing).
