Andreas Stavridis's tavern (Ταβέρνα Ανδρέας) is located in the village of Skopia (population 90), 640 m above sea level. It is renowned throughout the region for its succulent Greek meats: spit-roasted lamb from Skopia or Alistrati, black pork ribs from Olympus, rib-eye or entrecote of "red breed" beef from Kastoria-Krystallopigi. Plus: fine wines, mezzés, homemade sausage and French fries, village cheeses... Terrace or dining room with fireplace. Nearby, you can visit the beautiful Alistrati cave, 14 km to the south-east.
