Visit the Maison de la Toinette and Grange de Julien in Murat-le-Quaire.
A 19th century peasant woman, Toinette appeals to visitors of all ages: the old will recall fond memories, the young will discover the life of the past and keep beautiful images in their heads. The story is pleasant and the intonations of a few phrases in dialect give even more conviviality and spice to the story. The sequel, Julien's Barn, is just as captivating. In describing the return of Julien, Toinette's son, it deals with the evolution of the rural world.
