Interesting archaeological collections in this completely renovated building, which once housed the "Arethoussa" distillery, an industrial monument from the early 20th century. In addition to the history of the site, which comes alive during the visit, the exhibition traces the milestones in the history of Euboea and Skyros, from the heroine of Lefkandi, the spread of the Euboean alphabet, the sanctuary of Artemis at Aulis and Iphigenia, to the Byzantine and Ottoman periods. A visit well worth the detour.
