OREI AND HIS BULL

Small lively port with bars and taverns in Loutra Edipsos.
Its tourist development is still slow and discreet, but Orei is a small lively port whose waterfront is dotted with bars and taverns. The village is divided in two by a Frankish castle that stands in its middle. To the west, you can see the remains of a second fortress once built on the ruins of an ancient acropolis. Orei is finally known for the bull statue found by fishermen in the open sea and displayed in a window in the central square. This bull is made of marble and dates from the Hellenistic period.
