In the 1970s, it was home to the legendary Lagoudera club (also known as the Yachting club) frequented by the jet set of the time: Brigitte Bardot, Elizabeth Taylor, John Lennon, the Rolling Stones, Maria Callas, Onassis... Today, it is THE gourmet restaurant of Hydra. You will be sure to fall in love with this mythical place clinging to the rocks and with its creative Mediterranean cuisine. Excellent wine list and good choice of cocktails. On weekends, history repeats itself and the restaurant turns into a dance bar.

Dobra restauracja, wykwintne jedzenie, cudowne smaki potraw i nieziemski widok z tarasu. Niestety najtańsze wino 30€ (Chardonnay) a większość win w cenie 200->500€/butelka, gruba przesada i próżność. Najtańsze wino za 30€ bardzo dobre. Jedzenie przepyszne. Budżet minimum na kolację 120€/parę.

So this place would be amazing for group dinners. it’s right on the water and the view is amazing. we were at the second 10pm sitting and assumed we could stay until it turned into a club (but that’s at 2:30 and isn’t busy till 3). It is quite expensive given the small portions but it is really tasty. they were knowledgable about gluten free food but it meant we mainly shared starters which were tiny apart from the octopus (all were delicious) they came out all at the same time though which we asked to slow down. overall really nice place but would definitely recommend in groups and do the late sitting as early one they move you out by 9/9:30

Very good location with view to the sea. But that cannot make up for:
-The bad & slow service
-The extremely overpriced menu, for not very tasty plates
-The very small food portions

I wouldn't recommend it, sorry.

We had extremely high expectations for this restaurant due to its prominent standings in most tourism guides about the island, but the food and experience were largely short of these.
The positive:
What stands out is the atmosphere. You will likely find yourselves sitting right on top of the water, with a view towards the port entrance or towards the west. The service is friendly and attentive.
The constructive feedback:
The food is just ok. We liked the agreed salad and the Palamida (a cured fish) but we thought that overall there were TOO many thick sauces and too many ingredients. For example, the Palamida had several grasses on top of as well as a think mayo-like sauce. The Greek salad was dressed with a balsamic and olive oil mix which was thick and not runny at all. And the Grouper came with a very runny sauce, reminiscent of a French restaurant, not a Greek one.
Overall, if you plan to spend 100€ per person for dinner and a nice bottle of wine, I would recommend you do that at nearby Sunset restaurant or at the taverna at the Four Seasons hotel.
