HOTEL KARTHEA
Hotel with a very nice view and an interesting quality-price ratio.
The settlement entered into contemporary Greek history at the time of the fall of the colonels. It was here, in the 35 rooms of the hotel, that the members of the junta were imprisoned in July 1974, to prevent them from being lynched by the Athenians. Today, it is a more practical than pretty establishment, but with some rooms overlooking the sea, which are our favourites. Breakfast is a little basic but sufficient. One appreciates a certain calm and a very beautiful view of the small port. And the quality-price ratio remains interesting.
