VILLAGE OF VOURKARI
Anchorage for yachts and sailboats in a fishing village with taverns and apartments.
When we said that Kea was like a chic suburb of Athens, well, here it is. This pretty little fishing village a few kilometers north of Korissia is betrayed by pleasure boats. No beach to speak of and only a few apartments for rent. Like a little Saint-Tropez, Vourkari serves mainly as a mooring port for yachts and other sailboats. You can dine in one of the lovely tavernas on the waterfront (good fish dishes) and relax in the cafés and bars that come alive in the evening.
