VILLAGE OF VOURKARI
Anchorage for yachts and sailboats in a fishing village with taverns and apartments.
When you were told that Kea was like a chic suburb of Athens: here's an illustration. This pretty little fishing village a few kilometres north of Korissia is betrayed by pleasure boats. No beach as such and only a few apartments for rent. Like a small Saint-Tropez, Vourkari is mainly used as an anchorage for yachts and other sailing boats. You can eat in one of the beautiful taverns on the waterfront (good fish dishes) and relax in the cafés and bars that come alive in the evening.
