PANO PIATSA
When visiting Chora, stop at the central square, Pano Piatsa. Here you will see the neoclassical architecture of the town hall, the traditional Cycladic architecture of the white houses and the sacred architecture of the church of St. Anathasius, which dates back to the 17th century. Don't miss to go inside the church to admire the superb iconostasis made of worked wood. But the most striking visit will remain that of the kastro. Then go up to the old Venetian fortress for a view of the whole island and the surrounding area.
