As its name suggests, this mill consists of different types of accommodation: studios, apartments and of course a traditional windmill. The place is very pleasant and has a lot of charm. Beautiful swimming pool with deckchairs and view on several islands. Restaurant. Impeccable services and facilities: babysitting, doctor, hairdresser, massages, manicure, car or scooter rental, horse riding, Greek language courses, cooking classes, laundry and ironing service, bicycle available on request. Packages during the grape and olive harvest.

Πάρα πολύ ακριβό χωρίς λόγο αν εξαιρέσεις την τοποθεσία και την φοβερή θέα, όπως βέβαια και πολλά άλλα μέρη του νησιού. Στα αρνητικά, εκτός από το ζήτημα value for money, δεν είχε ζεστό νερό όλες τις ώρες της μέρας και όταν είχε, ήταν χλιαρό. Τα υδραυλικά-αποχέτευση θέλουν συντήρηση γιατί υπήρχε μια δυσοσμία καθώς και ένα θέμα με τα μυρμήγκια που ήταν αρκετά δραστήρια μέσα στο δωμάτιο.. Στα θετικά οι ευγενικοί ιδιοκτήτες και το ευγενικό προσωπικό, η θέα και η ηρεμία καθώς και ικανοποιητικό πρωινό.. Φυσικά μεγάλο υπέρ η πισίνα που ήταν τέλεια..

Ho alloggiato con il mio compagno all'interno del mulino a vento, cuore centrale di questa struttura. Il mulino internamente è meraviglioso, curato nei minimi dettagli. Il color bianco fa da padrone. All'esterno ci sono due spazi, uno con un tavolo e sedie ed un altro piccolo spazio "soggiorno". La vista da qui è unica sia di giorno per vedere tutte le isole adiacenti, sia di notte per ammirare le stelle. Unica "pecca" considerate che nella camera all'ultimo piano del mulino le 2 finestre non hanno le tende quindi al mattino arriverà la luce molto presto. Il complesso è molto bello e la colazione abbondante e buona. Personale cordiale, disponibile e accogliente.

Rooms were clean and roomy for a couple. Tight for a couple with kids. Property was immaculate. Was on the Island of Sifnos for a wedding, so did not partake of the amenities of the hotel, but my room had a fantastic view of the pool and the sea beyond that.

notre coup de coeur dans les cyclades
Comment expliquer notre ressenti par rapport au windmill si ce n'est que c'est notre plus bel hôtel essayé dans les cyclades. Le cadre est exceptionnel, piscine à débordement qui donne sur les cyclades et la mer égée, Kastro en contrebas avec les restanques qui descendent doucement vers les criques cachées de cette partie de l'île. L'endroit jouit d'un calme à toute épreuve, perturbé seulement par des cigales et des oiseaux endémiques. Tout autour des champs d'olivier dansent avec le vent et ajoute un grain de magie cycladique à ce lieu préservé. Les chambres sont tout confort, nous avons profité d'un petit déjeuner délicieux et Margarita est une hôte sympathique et avenante qui de surcroit parle français.
Nous reviendrons et la prochaine fois nous louerons le moulin ;) !
