This Romanesque church was an integral part of a commandery of the Hospitaliers de Saint-Jean-de-Jérusalem.
This Romanesque church is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. Dating from the 12th century, it was an integral part of a commandery of the Hospitaliers de Saint-Jean-de-Jérusalem. Today, only a few ruins bear witness to the commandery, but the church is in good condition. Its choir is part of the Commandery's former chapel. It houses a recumbent tomb and stone arches adorning the tomb of Odon de Montaigut, Grand Prior of the Auvergne language, also known as Saint Gouerand. The bell tower and stained glass windows are in perfect condition.
