Hotel near the main square in the heart of the village of Kastro.
The kastro of Antiparos is well hidden in the heart of the village, close to the main square. Its thick walls (3 m thick) are pierced by only one entrance, on the side of the southern fortifications. In a village as small as Antiparos, one can easily pass by the kastro without ever spotting it and without ever entering it! Here, the kastro was not a military fortress, seat of power, but a residential complex. On two floors, the houses housed the entire local population, a church and small outside courtyards.
