An option to consider if you also rent a car: this house is a beautiful stone house, renovated in 2010 in a contemporary style. You will find charming rooms, studios and apartments. As an anecdote, Yorgos Kentrotas, the peasant who discovered the famous statue of the Venus de Milo, is said to have hidden the statue in one of the rooms of the house. Obviously, it is no longer there: to the great displeasure of the locals, it was, as everyone knows, taken to the Louvre museum, where it is still on display today.
