Beach of Fyropotamos dominated by ruins and a monastery and Sarakino with beautiful blue water.

Just a few minutes from Plaka, the pretty beach of Fyropotamos offers a charming setting. You'll find shade under the trees, but the water is rougher than elsewhere, and a lovely blue, dominated by ruins and a monastery. Calm and pretty. Sarakino is one of the island's must-sees, described as a "lunar landscape". Indeed, the absence of vegetation, the white rocky coves (actually limestone, due to the volcanic nature of the island) and the clear blue waters create a unique setting.

Milos comporte de nombreuses plages, tout aussi belles les unes que les autres ! Sarakiniko, Firopotamos, Apollonia, Firiplaka, Plathiena...sont les plus connues, et malheureusement en août très fréquentées...il est possible de trouver de la tranquillité sur certaines plages en marchant un petit peu et en s'éloignant de tous les touristes agglutinés les uns sur les autres ! mais au risque parfois de tomber sur des naturistes...:-). Très belles formations géologiques.
