Buses connect Gavrion to Chora, via Batsi, but Andros doesn't have good connections and it's much more practical to have your own means of transport. Given the lack of public transport, it's often best to rent a car when you arrive in Gavrion. However, in high season, it's best to plan ahead. If you want to plan ahead, you'll find vehicles here at Tassos, one of the hard-to-miss rental companies set up at the boat landing. A good service, with personalized advice (including on accommodation) and exchanges via WhatsApp.
