Small, practical and charming address 80 m from the central square of Fira. No luxury, but the hotel of 15 rooms has the merit of not being very expensive, despite its situation.

*mid-March 2024 review*
Rooms ????: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The rooms are really great. We were upgraded to a three-bed room with a balcony.
The beds were cosy, the bathroom spotless. Absolutely fabulous.
The downsides:
- Bathroom doors did not close tight, and creep opened.
- AC did not work (or at least I could not get it to work).
But we had a short stay, and did not feel the need to inform the reception. I am sure they would have immediately fixed it.
Price ????: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very competitive, and value-for-money.
Location ????: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A 5-minutes walk to the bus station, and a 3 minutes walk to the Fira Main Square. And it is still peaceful at night.
Service ????️: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have a lot of praise for the staff here.
- We shamelessly arrived 6-hours early before the check-in start time. We frankly did not expect to get a room. Fortunately, we were taken to our room, with a very warm smile.
- We had booked the cheapest room. But they eagerly upgraded us to a significantly better room, wishing us a pleasant stay. I was touched by this gesture!
- We were pampered more than our own parents. They are very friendly & polite, and yet professional. They offered us beverages.
- They explained us the map of Santorini, with enthusiasm, and circled the must-visit spots.
- They advertised a day-tour service, named 'Travel Santorini', and it was good for the price.
- They recommended the restaurant El Greco, saying that it was good, and 2 minutes away. We did not like that restaurant after our meal.
We have not received exceptional warmth and genuine care from any hotel before.
View ????: ⭐⭐⭐
Our balcony mostly faced the neighbouring buildings, and had a small view of the sea.
Wi-Fi ???? speed: ⭐⭐
Peak 16 Mbps on a Sunday evening.
Will I come here again?
Most certainly.
Personal comment ????????♂️:
When we were checking-in, there were other guests in the reception. Everyone was treated with all the love, offering coffee and having conversations.
It was a pleasure staying here.

Update in response to owner's reply :-
We arrived around 11pm after a long flight, there were two groups ahead of us. The daughter were busy selling tours to all guests instead of checking guests in. When it was our turn to be checked in, we have already heard all her sales pitch twice, and requested our room asap as we were really tired and gently informed her we will get back to her tomorrow morning if we need to book any tours or transfers. She put us on the first floor, with several flight of steps. I have knee osteo and not able to walk up with 2 luggage in tow. When requesting luggage assistance, the female reception said need to wait for her brother. As we were really really exhausted having to wait 30mins for her to sell tours to the other 2 groups, we requested a change of room. Then we asked if any of the shops are open, she said No, we said we need to buy bottled mineral water, she said there is 1 bottle in the room. We said we need 2 bottles as there were two of us, and we offered to pay for another bottle of water from the motel, she said it is fine for this time.
Original review:-
We are two female Australians and booked this place after reading the reviews. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! All the great service mentioned in the reviews are only provided if Antonia Motel can make money out of you. As soon as they tried to sell us their airport transfers, tours, etc and we did not accept any of them, the service went out the window, service is literally non existent. The elderly male owner especially were extremely RUDE and yelled at us when we tried to make a cup of coffee during check out! When the female receptionist, which we believe is the daughter, informed us during check in we can help ourselves to free coffee and tea! It was such a blessing we only stayed here for one night, couple of hours only. The room is so tiny, you can hardly move. The bus stop and taxi station is NOT do-able with luggage in tow. Definitely DO NOT recommend this so called hotel, which is more like an Airbnb or tiny motel.

We stayed in a 3-person room and it was the same as advertised on the website. The room is clean and we had a balcony.
The smart Tv works really well for my daughter. The room was cosy and clean, and it made us feel at home.
The location is very convenient and great. 1 minute walk to the mart, 5 minutes to the local bus terminal and 3 minutes to the Fira Centre.
Thanks Antonia hotel for the heartwarming stay in Santorini.
