For a little extravagance, chef Thodoris Kakoulis offers modern Greek cuisine bursting with personality. Vegetarian dishes are accompanied by herbs and flowers in various forms (raw, marinated and cooked) in a Tinos kariki cheese vinaigrette (for example). Sea bass fillet wrapped in vine leaves and garnished with grilled zucchini, dried lemon and a lettuce-based sauce. We've seen beef with carrots and hazelnuts, drizzled with cucumber juice. While the tasting menus are expensive, the dishes are affordable.
