Hotel with a handful of cliff-top suites and a rooftop hot tub.
A folly, but a rare place where you really feel like you're living in a real house. Except that this two-storey mansion is partly carved out of the cliff. This villa, formerly owned by a shipowning family, actually dates back to 1864 and was once ranked among the 50 most beautiful hotels in the world. It's easy to see why: a handful of tastefully decorated suites cling to the cliff. No swimming pool, but a rooftop whirlpool with a view.
