Renovated in 2023, this museum (Ναυτικό Μουσείο Θήρας/Naftiko Mousio Thiras) is housed in the beautiful neoclassical villa. It traces the history of the island's sailors and shipowners, particularly in the 19th century, when their sailing ships transported Akrotiri's volcanic soil to the Suez Canal construction site and Santorini's wines to Russia. Figureheads, Ottoman nautical charts, WWII periscope, documentary... French-speaking staff.
