Located in Kamari, Greece, the 3-star Hotel Makarios is ideally situated just a 3-minute walk from a peaceful beach on the Aegean Sea. The hotel is also close to the ruins of the ancient mountain-top town of Thera and Santorini airport. The hotel's rooms are simple but friendly, with free Wi-Fi access, flat-screen TV, safe, mini-fridge and balcony. Family rooms can accommodate up to 4 people. The hotel offers a free buffet breakfast, as well as a restaurant, reception bar, outdoor pool with bar, sauna, whirlpool and tennis court. There's also a TV lounge, children's playground, table tennis and parking. Guests appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. However, some noted that the bathroom was small and the food was average.
