Cape made up of large rocks with the monastery of Pano Kalamiotissa on top.

Continuing eastwards, you reach the gigantic deserted beach of Kalamos. Never go there without enough food and water, as you will not find anything within several kilometres. Cape Kalamos is a large rock that plunges down to the eastern end of Anafi, and on top of it stands the impressive monastery of Pano Kalamiotissa. The climb is long and difficult, but you will be rewarded with an extraordinary view of a breathtaking landscape in a mystical calm. You can also visit the monastery.
