PARENTIGNAT CASTLE
Castle housing a magnificent furniture, collections of paintings of French masters of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, a library.
Bought in 1707 by François de Lastic, this castle has belonged to the same family since its foundation. Already in the 18th century, the magnificence of its furniture was praised, one of the richest in Auvergne, and most of it is still there today. The collections of paintings by French masters of the 17th and 18th centuries are constantly being enriched: Pierre Mignard, Nicolas de Largilière, Claude Jeulet... You can visit the residence: the ground floor salons, the dining room, the admirable library as well as the large rooms on the first floor and the state rooms.
