Ferry. Kastellorizo is connected to Piraeus via Rhodes by ferry, twice a week. The crossing from Rhodes lasts 3:30 a. m. The beautiful port of Kastellorizo seems straight out of a postcard: The large ferry filled almost all the width of the bay and blocks the panorama. It's not a problem in itself, but note that if you stay around Easter, the boat stays on the dock a week and really spoils the view. Avoid this period, therefore.

Catamaran. During the season, Dodekanisos Seaways offers daily connections with Rhodes, the duration of the 2:30 crossing. Rhodes departures take place from the marina of Kolona, at the entrance to the old town.

Links with Turkey. Otherwise, two small boats connect the island almost daily to Kas Turkish port (30 minutes, 30 € round trip). Particularly interesting on Friday, market day. Please note that Turkey is not part of the European Union. It will have to take an identity card or passport with you. Upon arrival in Turkey, the port police will take your identity papers, they will be returned to you at the time of departure. Greece will have to go through customs and passport control.
