KOS PALACE
Family hotel complex near the sea with comfortable rooms with various services.
A family hotel complex with more than 100 rooms, near the sea. Namely: the establishment is located 2 kilometres from shops and the city centre, but the municipal bus serves a stop at the hotel. There is nothing special to note about Kos Palace: comfortable but unattractive rooms, an ideal swimming pool for families with children, pleasant staff but not very personalised service, various services to be paid in addition. In short, the typical resort experience. The earlier you book, the cheaper it is.

The room we stayed in was fantastic with a pool view, sea view and sofa bed. However, the shower head is in a weird position in the middle of the bath, soaking everything in the process.
It is a 30 min walk to town, no pavement so unfortunately you dont feel very safe walking back and forth so always have your wits about you because coaches and cars especially can go very fast and too close to you. The sea is literally the opposite side of the road where you can pay €3 for a sunbed for the day and the view is stunning. The bus situ is a pain, the hotel is where the bus terminates hence why there is no bus going to town via seafront and only comes once an hour, apart from 12.30 when the busses are used for the local school children. Yes the island is that tiny. There is no entertainment at all, so I would say this is for more older people and couples wanting a chilled holiday. I would definitely stay here again if I come to Tigaki.
