ALINTA BAY

The bay of Alinta extends from the port of Agia Marina with its beautiful neoclassical villas to the secret beach of Dio Liskaria, passing through the villages of Krithoni and Alinta. The kastro seems to dominate the entire bay where holidaymakers laze on the beach in shallow waters. In Alinta, we visit the Bellenis Tower, an incredible 1925 villa transformed into a museum, which is particularly interested in the contemporary history of Leros, between military battles of the Second World War and the exile of political opponents during the colonels' dictatorship.
