Gourna Bay with a shallow main beach ideal for families.
Gourna Bay is located on the west coast, on the other side of the island from Alinta Bay. Gourna's main beach is very shallow, ideal for younger children and families who like to go there. You will also find taverns and suitable beach facilities. Connected to the land by a passage that seems to float on the waves, the pretty chapel of Agios Isodoros is the only queen on its small rock on the sea. Be sure to visit it at the end of the day: the site is really magical when the sun sets towards the west.
