Accessible directly from Athens or Rhodes, Lipsi is easier access from its neighbors Patmos and Leros, or from the hydrofoils from Kalymnos and Kos.
Ferry. Athens-Lipsi. Twice a week a ferry arrives from Pirée (10 hours of crossing). It stops only at Patmos before Lipsi, then continues its road towards Rhodes, serving the passage Leros, Kalymnos, Kos and Symi. Connections with the other islands. At least one ferry per day for Patmos (13/week, 35 minutes) and Leros (13/week, 1 hour 05). Five a week for Kalymnos (2 hours 20). Four a week for Arki (1 hour 45), Agathonisi (3 hours) and Samos (4 hours 10). Two a week for Symi (6:30 a. m.), Kos (7:40 a. m.) and Rhodes (8 hours 10).
Hydroglider. From two to three hydrofoils per day for Leros (25 minutes), Kalymnos (2 hours 20), Kos (3:40), the three islands being serviced 20 times in the week by the same boats, and Patmos (19/week, 20 minutes). From one to two connections per day for Samos (13/week, 3 hours). Six a week for Rhodes (5:15 a. m.). Four a week for Symi (4 hours 30). Three per week for Ikaria (1 hour) and Provided (1 hour 15).
