Head to the Alfa Farm cheese factory, behind the Aphroditi studios, to buy delicate goat, cow and buffalo cheeses, deliciously flavored with chili, pepper or plain. Lipsi Winery (+30 22470 41192 - www.lipsiwinery.com) has brought the local winemaking tradition and Fokianos grape varieties up to date. You can visit the cellars and taste the wines, still young but good, on the heights of the port. Winemakers Manolis and Nikos are making giant strides!
