KTEL and RODA buses serve the entire island: the central station is located at the back of the New Market (Nea Agora). You will find the schedules and can buy your tickets before you get into the car. The main destinations like Lindos and the beaches are served approximately every half-hour in summer, approximately every 1:30 a. m. off season.
In the full season, buses can be crowded and schedules are not necessarily respected. Go ahead at the station to make sure you have a seat and not miss the bus. If in the cohue you are not sure of being in the right bus, do not hesitate to ask the driver, most English speaking.
