Impressive hotel with an ultra harmonious decoration.

Next to the Porte Saint-Jean, you'll find one of the most luxurious establishments in the medieval city. A former residence of the Knights, built in 1340, this inn will unfortunately not be affordable for everyone, but the lucky ones will be able to appreciate the truly impressive renovation work carried out here. We appreciate the attention to detail and the collectibles that make the hotel a living museum, with ultra-harmonious decor. A personalized, professional welcome and all the comforts expected of this type of establishment.

Kókkini Porta Rossa Exclusive Suites is a small family-run hotel in Rhodes Old Medieval Town. This is one of the best experiences in hotels we have had in Europe. Angela and Nikos have created a unique experience with a lot of attention to even smallest details.

Huge respect for the team for creating this exclusive hotel experience and carrying out this unparalleled level of service.

We had a great time at Kokkini Porta Rossa. The room has really cool medieval decor. We were served a 3-course breakfast every morning in their beautiful terrace. The location is perfect, within the old town and really close to all the restaurants and shops. The hosts were so friendly and warm and they have a really nifty app which they used to give us lots of tips for sights and restaurants and getting around the island. We had a great time thanks to Nikos and Angela!

Heaven sent from Rhodes Old Town.

Kokkini Porta Rossa is a beautiful, Medieval Knights' Mansion, lovingly restored, and turned into a relaxed, quiet, and very special boutique hotel, perfectly run with care, and charm by Nikos, Angela and their son Paris (who is also a maestro on the piano)

The restoration of the building is clearly a passion of the family who have poured their love and attention into creating wonderful suites full of history and character.

Our breakfasts, eaten in the walled, shady hotel courtyard, created, and cooked by Angela and her team are the best we have experienced abroad. Five beautiful, light courses that change each day of traditional Greek regional delicacies made with local ingredients.

Nikos helps you navigate the old town and further afield if you wish with deep knowledge and thoughtfulness. Listening to what you like and offering options in a relaxed and friendly manner.

We loved the history of the old town (recommend a tour with the amazing Alexis via the hotel) and while we will remember our walks around the cobbled streets and restaurant visits it is Nikos, Angela and their quite wonderful establishment that we won't forget! (there is a good reason for so many awards won)
Our thanks David and Jessica.
