Every year this great medieval celebration takes place in the old town of Rhodes: street performances, music, parades.
Since 2006, the festival, now held in September, has been a major medieval celebration in Rhodes' old town. Trumpets and costumes are on display, and there are concerts of medieval songs, weapons demonstrations and parades. It's a chance to relive a little of the period of the Knights of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem! In the medieval town, food stalls are set up on cobbled street corners, and the grand festivities take over the moat in front of the Porte d'Amboise.
