Ancient Byzantine guard tower located in Rhodes City.

The Clock Tower, an ancient 7th-century Byzantine watchtower, was severely damaged by the explosion of the munitions stockpile that destroyed many monuments in 1856. Reconstructed after the disaster, with a few Baroque additions in the process, it's a great place to climb for the magnificent panoramic view over the city and the Aegean. After your visit, you can refresh yourself in the small café or on its terrace: a drink is included in the price of the ticket to reward you for your efforts. Free admission for children.
