This tasty tavern is located about 10 km from Myrina, in the village of Sardis. One comes here for the excellent local meats, especially the lamb of Lemnos, but also for more rustic dishes that one is less used to. The two local specialties are the rooster stew, accompanied by flomaria, the handmade egg pasta typical of Lemnos, and the rabbit stew with onions. You may have to make a reservation to be sure to taste them, in high season. Take the time to wander around this unspoiled village for a digestive stroll after your meal.
