AVEROF 1841
This tavern, open since 1925, is an institution located near the Hotel Sappho. It belongs to the Kakambouras family. Although now renovated, the establishment retains the patina of time. Here one particularly appreciates the generous portions: stuffed vegetables, meat and vegetable stews, traditional codfish or meatballs with their fresh fried potatoes. You choose your dishes in a shop window, just like in a self-service restaurant. If you've had a party, you should know that it's open from 7am for tripe soup.
